The Maritime Institute for Emergency Monitoring and Response, MIEMAR pronounced "my mar", is a Louisiana based institue in alliance with a Louisiana college/university and under a partnership arrangement with the private and public sectors. The institute focus is in the area of research and operations of maritime idustries indigenous to the South Louisiana region and the Gulf Coast.
